Hello, I am Ebru Aksu, a 28-year-old young female entrepreneur. I graduated from the Department of Business Administration at Necmettin Erbakan University in Konya. I currently live in Istanbul. During the COVID-19 quarantine period in our country, I worked on DIY projects at home and designed a raffia mirror. I added the product to an online sales platform called Dolap. After a few days, my product gained 1800 likes. People started asking for my sales page, business card, and Instagram address. I couldn't keep up with the designs I was making at home, so I began moving towards becoming a female entrepreneur. To support housewives who want to earn money from this work, I started giving knitting technique training. I make the orders I receive to contribute to employment, and currently, 25 women in our workshop are working on this. I want to contribute more to employment. I try to be an example for young entrepreneurial friends. The profession I dreamed of doing has become a part of me. Through the projects I actively participated in during university and the education I received in Poland, Sweden, Norway, and Italy within the scope of Erasmus Plus, I developed my field further. During this time, I ended my career in corporate life, where I didn't feel I belonged. While moving forward to establish my own brand, our designs are currently in Bodrum Yalıkavak Moon Beach, Istanbul Atelier Kafası, and online platforms, where I am most actively selling through our Instagram account.
